Engine Inspection for Hole Presences, Hole Dimension, Hole Thread Presence & Data Matrix Code reading.
Looking into above criticality, we have decided to go with Camera & Robotic arm for fast & accurate Inspection of Engine parameters. We have first establish the communication between Camera & Robotic Arm. Given proper coordinate to Robotic Arm to reach to specific hole. Then we have program the camera system for specific parameters to inspect.
As the measuring items were of different size, at different side of the engine, with some hole to be check for thread presences, camera programming & integration with Robotic Arm was very critical. Also we were asked to maintain the given tag time.
